Ohab Zedek is thrilled to welcome Rabbi Avrumi & Michal Schonbrun to our brand new Bet Medrash Program, dedicated in memory of Pnina Arbesfeld z'l. The Schonbruns were warmly received during the Shavuos visits where their engaging classes were enjoyed by members of all ages and stages.

Rabbi Avrumi Schonbrun currently serves as one of the Campus Rabbis of Stern College for Women in New York, NY and is a fellow in the Beren Kollel Elyon. Rabbi Schonbrun earned his BA in Mathematics at Yeshiva University and completed Semikha at RIETS. He currently lives with his wife, Michal, in Midtown, Manhattan.

Michal Schonbrun currently serves as one of the Campus Rebbetzins of Stern College for Women in New York, NY, alongside her husband, Avrumi. Michal herself attended Stern College, where she earned her BA in Sociology and Judaic Studies. In addition to giving shiurim and meeting with students, Michal spends her day learning in her third year at YU's GPATS.  Prior to GPATS, Michal taught as a 3rd-grade Morah in Yeshivat Noam. In her free time, Michal enjoys cooking and anything Peloton.
