Ohab Zedek is thrilled to announce the selection of R’ Ezra & Leora Seplowitz as our new BMP couple. They will also serve as interns under the guidance of our Mora D’Asra, Rabbi Allen Schwartz.

Ezra & Leora bring with them a shared passion for Jewish education and leadership:

• Ezra Seplowitz recently graduated from Yeshiva University with a BA in Jewish Thought & Philosophy, with minors in psychology and music. A Straus Scholar and recipient of the Dean Isaac Bacon Award for Excellence in the Humanities and Jewish Studies, he is now pursuing a master’s degree at Revel Graduate School and rabbinic ordination at RIETS.
• Leora (Muskat) Seplowitz graduated from Stern College for Women with a BA in Judaic Studies. She was a member of the Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein Honors Program and a recipient of the Rabbi Chaim Levine Memorial Award for Excellence in Jewish Studies. Over the past two years, Leora has studied in Yeshiva University’s Graduate Program in Advanced Talmudic Studies (GPATS), and she will continue in GPATS as a graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in Talmudic interpretation.
• This past summer, Ezra & Leora ran the Older Teens division at Camp Mesora. They have also been selected as Rabbi Jonathan Sacks z’l Center Research Scholars at Yeshiva University for the 5786 academic year.
