OZ is more than our Historic building, countless acts of Chesed, and popular programs.

Our 150 year legacy endures because of the people who make our minyans, attend our classes, and participate in our events, - our members. When you join OZ you join an extended family who celebrate with each other in times of joy, console each other in times of sorrow, and have decided to make the Upper West Side - and OZ - their home.

Friends, Alumni, Non-Residents - whatever you call them, our "Associate Members" are there for the shul that is there for them. Associate members typically have full membership in another synagogue, or are not yet ready to make a full commitment. Non-residents may have moved out but certainly have not moved on. 

As an 'Anchor' of the West Side Community, OZ steps up when needed to help support the local institutions that we rely on.
